Nigerian Airports Recognized for Excellence in Emergency Management

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and the Port Harcourt International Airport have been honored by the Airport Council International (ACI Africa) for their outstanding contributions to airport emergency management and resilience. The prestigious awards were presented during the 33rd Annual General Assembly of ACI Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In a gala ceremony attended by aviation industry leaders from across the continent, the airports were recognized for their exceptional dedication to ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff. The awards highlight the significant strides made by Nigeria’s aviation sector in implementing world-class emergency response protocols and building resilient infrastructure.
